The basic underwriting tenets of Twenty Mile Insurance Services are risk selection and price adequacy. We seek to gain a thorough understanding of the insured’s operations prior to writing the account. We look for accounts that do not expect loss frequency based on the insured’s operations and five-year loss history. Twenty Mile also targets accounts where there is a specialty or expertise developed by the insured over a number of years. Our preference is to work with accounts in which the principal is involved in the everyday operations of the business.
